January My Dawn of Chess
Holla. I was a bit skeptical at the beginning of new year, how my life would change through out the 2009 and so on but after a month, I am a bit impress on my new life. First, I just started my new career in January 2009 and what make me happy is I am now working in an industry that I can only dream off as a child.

A wise man once said that, to learn anything, you need to learn constructively. From a basic to more advance. Learning without a plan is just worthless. I am taking this advice for my guidance in everything I do.
The Graph above is my chess performance indicator in Gameknot (GK) site. During end of December I manage to get my highest rating in GK (=1769) and during the same period, I was joining 1 Open tournament in my country with 85% were rated players (>50% are >2000 in FIDE rating). Although my performance on paper was not good enough, I managed to get 5 draws out of 9 (including 2 draws with rated players). All my games were equal and at some point of analysis my position was even better and could be winning. Furthermore, it was my 1st comeback in chess since 2006!! I am more flexible now and my game is maturing. I think I will stop here before my article look bragging on me :p I can't stop it, my ego is so high right now. Can you blame me for it? :)
